Our Capabilities

CS Garments vertically integrated textile operations and high-end, value-added services are at the cutting edge of innovation in the apparel industry.

Spinning, Knitting & Processing

In 1991, CS Garments set up a USD 1 million world-class, spinning-to-shipping facility located in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. The campus, which is spread widely, houses best-in-class technology from around the world for automated material flow and quality assurance. It delivers a wide range of knitted fabrics, including jersey, interlock, pique, Lacoste, rib, French terry, jacquards, and auto stripes, in cotton and cotton blends, using low to high yarn counts.

Internal Laboratory

CS Garments internal laboratories conduct performance testing and color approvals at various stages on raw materials, fabrics, garments, and trims in accordance with international test standards. These standards include the American Association of Textile Chemists (AATCC), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International, International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and British Standard (BS), along with our buyers’ in-house testing methods. Our internal laboratories ensure that the highest-quality product is produced, while simultaneously reducing garment lead-time through faster approvals on quality.

Design

CS Garment’s design and product development infrastructure consists of over 90 designers with expertise in CAD (Computer Aided Design), textile innovation, and apparel design. Dedicated teams service our key clients. We offer exclusive component innovation and area one-stop-shop by servicing every step from concept development to production.

As a company, we are continuously investing in new technologies and methods to stay relevant in a constantly changing world. We were one of the first garment manufacturers to integrate advanced design technologies such as 3D CAD design and 3D draping.

Around 40 percent of our turnover is designed in-house.

Garmenting

CS Garments runs more than 50 cut-to-pack garment production units across 9 states in India, with one of the most extensive embroidery set-ups in Asia. Real-time quality control and precise execution of quality assessment procedures, in conjunction with lean manufacturing initiatives, help us create superior quality products consistently. We have the latest wash expertise and can execute developments in technology from basic denim to innovative fabrics. We continuously invest in research and development to integrate the latest and most environment-friendly technology into our processes.

Our product capabilities include denim, twill bottoms, soft wovens, and knitwear.

Weaving & Processing

Research and Development wing is certified by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. This enables a quick lead time for development and sampling.
Our wovens facilities process cotton, rayon, linen fabric, and blends — from lightweight tops fabric to heavy bottoms fabric. These facilities can produce a variety of finishes, including standard finishes like mercerization, brushing, and peaching; and highly specialized proprietary finishes such as easy-care, wrinkle-free, and silky finish.
